Mohammed Abu Rahima, Assistant Director General for Administrative Affairs and Financial Resource Development, raised the national flag in front of the headquarters, in the presence of Fatima Al Dashti, Director of Branch Affairs; Safa Al Awadhi, Deputy Director of Branch Affairs; and Khalifa Al Falasi, Media and Public Relations Consultant, along with a number of heads of administrative units and the Society’s employees, who expressed their pride on this national occasion.

The event saw the participation of a team from NMC Hospital Al Nahda, led by Shafqat Nazir, Hospital Director, and Dr. Sohail Mohammed Qasim, Medical Director, who joined the Society’s family in celebrating the occasion, affirming the spirit of community partnership and strengthening institutional presence at national occasions.

Abu Rahima affirmed that Flag Day is a recurring national occasion to recall the journey of the Union and the values of unity, cohesion and solidarity it established. He noted that Beit Al Khair’s celebration of this occasion reflects its deep national belonging and its keenness to renew its loyalty to the wise leadership and its pride in the achievements of the UAE.

He said: “The UAE flag is not merely a banner that flies; it is a symbol of a nation’s unity and a journey of giving and achievement. It embodies the aspirations of its people and leadership, and unites its citizens and residents under the values of love, tolerance and cooperation. On this occasion, we renew our pledge of loyalty and belonging to the nation and its leadership, and draw from its flag the determination to continue our work and giving.”

Abu Rahima concluded by stressing the importance of national occasions in enhancing awareness of the Emirati identity and drawing inspiration from the values of the Founding Fathers in work, dedication and responsibility, contributing to the continuation of the journey of giving and community service.
