Beit Al Khair Society continues to implement its humanitarian initiative, the “Water Relief” project, aimed at providing drinking water to worshippers in mosques and prayer areas, as well as laborers residing in work sites and labor accommodations—especially during the summer months, when temperatures soar across the UAE.

The “Water Relief” project stands as one of the Society’s flagship initiatives, reflecting its firm commitment to the values of giving and social solidarity. The project is inspired by the noble words of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): “The best form of charity is giving water to drink.” Through this initiative, Beit Al Khair aims to reach the widest number of mosques and high-footfall community locations across Dubai.

This year, the Society has intensified its efforts through an expanded campaign to distribute a significantly larger number of chilled water bottles. So far, the project has covered more than 768 mosques across Dubai, distributing over 316,800 bottles of water, equivalent to 24,400 cartons, since the beginning of the year. Since the launch of the project in 2023, the total number of water cartons distributed has reached 203,823.

Beit Al Khair offers multiple ways for the public to contribute and support the “Water Relief” initiative, including online donations through the Society’s official website and mobile app, purchasing donation coupons valued at AED 10, and sending SMS donations of AED 10 to 2311—making it easier for individuals to participate in this vital cause.

Through “Water Relief”, the Society aims to expand the impact of humanitarian efforts and meet essential needs in the local community. The initiative reflects the values of sustainable giving and has been widely welcomed by the public, embodying the noble principles upon which Beit Al Khair was founded.
