Overview

In 1989, a group of businessmen in UAE introduced a humanitarian initiative that aimed to establish a general benefit foundation in the charity business and called it Beit Al Khair. It got incorporated under the Ministerial Decree No 41 of 1989.

Beit Al Khair Organizes an Umrah Trip for Orphan Families

Under the patronage and support of the Court of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai, and in response to the wishes of orphan families, Beit Al Khair Society organized an Umrah trip that included 25 orphans and their mothers, accompanied by two supervisors from the Society, during the mid-year school break.

The blessed journey to the holy city of Makkah aimed to give the orphans and their mothers the opportunity to perform Umrah rituals in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere filled with serenity, while strengthening family and social bonds and providing a meaningful humanitarian experience. This initiative forms part of the Society’s ongoing programs dedicated to supporting orphans and their families by creating diverse experiences that enhance their sense of reassurance and happiness.

Beit Al Khair affirmed that such trips and programs seek to reinforce the spirit of giving and social solidarity, and to leave a lasting impact on the lives of orphans and their families. The initiative reflects the Society’s commitment to providing comprehensive support—whether educational, social, or religious—and demonstrates its dedication to offering experiences that combine the spiritual dimension of worship with the social and educational development of orphans and their mothers, enabling balanced growth and the creation of positive, lasting memories that strengthen family and community ties.
