Beit Al Khair Society’s spending in September reached AED 15 million, including AED 3.4 million in contributions from its principal strategic partner, Dubai Islamic Bank. This brings the Society’s total giving by the end of the third quarter of 2026 to AED 165.9 million, of which AED 68.9 million was spent from Zakat funds and AED 96.9 million from Sadaqah (charity) funds. Over the past nine months, the number of beneficiaries of the Society’s giving reached 50,252 families and cases whose requests for assistance were met after being studied in accordance with the applicable rules.
This came as a result of the Society’s continued implementation of its new package of projects for 2026–2030, foremost among them the monthly support projects for low-income families. These included the monthly cash assistance project, which amounted to AED 662,000 in September; the orphan families sponsorship and care project, which spent AED 499,633; and the monthly support project for People of Determination, whose spending reached AED 105,000.
The emergency assistance project ranked first in spending among the humanitarian support projects, after the Society’s management directed its efforts towards relieving the hardship of underprivileged families and cases going through painful financial difficulty or a sudden crisis, so that they can overcome their ordeal and resume their normal lives. Through this project, Beit Al Khair provided AED 3,852,741 from Zakat funds in September, in addition to AED 3,996,667 from Sadaqah funds, bringing the total emergency assistance provided by the Society during the ninth month of 2026 to AED 7,849,408.
In addition, during September the Society supported needy and financially struggling patients through its successful community project “Ilaj” (Treatment), spending AED 3,483,078 on them. Through the “Ta’leem” (Education) project, it also contributed AED 1,745,142 to support the needs of students from struggling families and to settle their overdue university and school fees. The Society continued its additional support for low-income families, providing them with special support through the food supplies project worth AED 675,500.
In gratitude to the people of generosity and giving, Beit Al Khair extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to its donors, contributors and partners, praying that God elevates their standing, multiplies their reward, and grants them the best recompense for their benevolence.
