Beit Al Khair Society has ramped up its charitable campaigns to raise donations for financially struggling patients through its flagship community initiative, “Ilaaj” (Treatment). Spending under this project rose to AED 15,433,031 between January and October 2025, following the allocation of multiple media platforms to secure sufficient funding. The increase comes in response to the growing number of patient aid requests submitted via the Society’s website and branch offices across the UAE.

These requests came from individuals in critical medical conditions, requiring surgical interventions or costly treatments, especially those suffering from chronic or rare diseases, heart disease, cancer, kidney failure, and individuals with hearing or mobility impairments in need of assistive medical devices. Many of these cases required urgent and immediate intervention.

Seven years ago, Beit Al Khair launched its digital fundraising campaign “Fazaa”, a series of online donation appeals for patients in need, shared through social media to raise the necessary treatment costs. As of October 2025, the Fazaa campaigns have disbursed AED 513,971, benefiting 22 patients.

In parallel, the radio program “Zayed Al Khair”, launched in 2020 in collaboration with Al Oula Radio, has disbursed AED 3,756,375.35 over the same period, benefiting 120 patients. The program airs every Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The year 2025 also saw the launch of two new patient-support radio programs:

  • “Haq Ma’loom”, broadcast on Noor Dubai Radio (93.9 FM), every Sunday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, has disbursed AED 3,253,522.00 to support 110 patients in critical condition.

  • “Mayadeen Al Khair”, aired on Quran Kareem Radio (98.1 FM), every Friday from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, has disbursed AED 2,876,889.10, benefiting 100 patients in urgent need of medical assistance.

Altogether, the total amount disbursed through these media-based patient support platforms has reached AED 10,400,757.45 by the end of October 2025, supporting 352 patients in desperate need of treatment and relief.
