Beit Al Khair Expands Smart Donation Box Network to 143 Locations Across Dubai

As part of its ongoing efforts to facilitate charitable giving and leverage modern technology in support of humanitarian work, Beit Al Khair Society has announced the expansion of its smart donation box network, originally launched in 2022. The number of boxes has now reached 143, strategically placed across key areas throughout the Emirate of Dubai to reach the widest possible segment of donors.
This expansion comes in response to the directives of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, which has encouraged a shift toward smart donation systems and the adoption of sustainable digital solutions, in line with the Government of Dubai’s digital transformation vision.
The smart boxes offer donors a variety of options to support their chosen charitable projects, with donation categories ranging from AED 5 to AED 1,000. Donors can also input custom amounts, and contributions can be made securely via Visa cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. The devices are designed with a sleek, modern look that combines visual appeal with ease of use, featuring intuitive interfaces that allow people of all ages to interact with them effortlessly.
These smart donation boxes are fully integrated with the Society’s financial and administrative systems, allowing for real-time data updates and accurate tracking of donations, which are directly channeled to Beit Al Khair’s various programs and initiatives. The boxes are also linked directly to the Society’s bank accounts, ensuring fast, secure transfers and full financial documentation.
The IT Department at Beit Al Khair oversees the operation of these smart boxes, providing immediate technical support and conducting regular field visits to ensure their continued functionality and efficiency.
This initiative reflects Beit Al Khair’s commitment to innovation in charitable work, and its dedication to enhancing transparency and donor confidence—while staying aligned with the latest technological advancements in service of the community.
