Beit Al Khair Celebrates Emirati Women's Day

Beit Al Khair Society marked Emirati Women’s Day, held this year under the theme “Together, We Celebrate the 50th,” reaffirming its commitment to empowering Emirati women and strengthening their presence across all areas of charitable and humanitarian work. Women currently make up 35.3% of the Society’s workforce and hold 53.6% of leadership positions that contribute to shaping policies, developing projects, and driving community-based initiatives — reflecting the Society’s deep appreciation for women’s capabilities and their vital contributions to serving the UAE community.
Halima Al Dhahani, Assistant Director General for Research and Branch Affairs at the Society, emphasized that Emirati women have always played a central role in advancing charitable efforts and social initiatives. She stated:
“Emirati Women’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate the significant efforts made by women within the Society and in the broader community. At Beit Al Khair, we are proud of our outstanding female team, which leads projects and creates meaningful impact in serving society. These women embody leadership, responsibility, and excellence. Women at Beit Al Khair are not merely contributors — they are key pillars in decision-making and in the professional execution of our charitable programs.”
Al Dhahani further explained that the Society places special emphasis on developing women’s capacities through specialized training programs and innovative workshops, aimed at enhancing leadership, management, and community initiative skills. She affirmed that empowering women at all levels of work directly enhances the quality of services the Society provides and strengthens its ability to fulfill its humanitarian and charitable objectives.
